About this course

Finding out about an affair, a secret relationship online, hidden debts or months of lying can turn your world upside down. Whether you are the partner who was hurt or the one who broke trust, it is hard to know what to do next, how long it will take, or whether it is even possible to feel close again.

This course takes you through rebuilding step by step: steadying things in the first weeks, telling the full truth and apologizing in a way that helps, agreeing fair transparency without sliding into control, handling triggers, understanding why it happened, and slowly rebuilding friendship, intimacy and forgiveness. It also explains when counseling can help, the warning signs that a relationship is not safe, and how to separate with care if that is your decision.

It is for couples who both feel safe with each other and want to try, and for individuals working out what they want. You will build a shared trust rebuilding plan, a written transparency agreement, a private progress check-in and use a confidential counseling checker.

Questions about this course

Can trust really be rebuilt after an affair?

Many couples do rebuild trust, but nobody can promise the outcome and it usually takes many months. It is most likely when the betrayal has fully ended, the partner who broke trust takes full responsibility and stays consistent, and both partners freely want to try.

Is this a replacement for couples counseling?

No. It is practical education and tools. Module 7 explains when counseling can help and how to find a licensed counselor. Many couples use the course alongside counseling.

Is it suitable if there is abuse in our relationship?

No. If you feel afraid of your partner, or there is violence, threats, coercive control or pressure into sex, the priority is safety. The course lists confidential US helplines, including the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233), and you can call 911 in an emergency.

Are my check-ins private?

Your check-ins and checker answers are saved to your own account. If someone else can access your device or account, think about whether it is safe to save your answers.
