About this course

A strong marriage is not built on grand gestures. It is built on hundreds of small, everyday moments: how you greet each other, how you listen, how you argue and make up, how you share the load and how you plan your future. This course brings together practical, well-tested relationship skills in one place, in plain, warm language.

Across ten modules you will strengthen your friendship and connection, build a habit of appreciation, learn to listen and raise issues without blame, handle conflict with a shared plan, talk about money and the mental load, keep affection and intimacy alive, work as a team with your families and children, and set shared goals, including healthy habits you can build together. The final module explains when and where to get extra help, and how to recognise the difference between ordinary conflict and domestic and family violence.

It is for married couples and those in de facto or other long-term committed relationships, whether you are newly-weds, deep in the busy years, or rediscovering each other later in life. You can do it together or on your own. It is general education, not counselling, and it assumes both partners feel safe.
