About MyNutriCare
We make short, practical courses on everyday nutrition and wellbeing, with the tools built in so you can use what you learn the same day.
What we do
Good food and health advice is easy to find but hard to put into practice. MyNutriCare turns official Australian guidance into short lessons and pairs each one with a tool: a tracker, a meal planner, a checklist or a question sheet for your next appointment.
Our courses cover seventeen topics in six areas of life: eating well and moving more; pregnancy and new parents; feeding and raising children; women's and men's health; mind, sleep and self-care; and family, ageing and care.
- Self-paced lessons you can read in a few minutes on your phone.
- Interactive tools that save to your account and download as PDFs.
- A final check and a certificate with its own verification ID.
- One payment per course, in Australian dollars, with no subscription.
How we write and check our courses
Every Australian course is written by Dr Aqsa Mukhtiar, PhD in Nutrition, who also reviews the nutrition content. Each course is built on official Australian sources, such as:
- The Australian Dietary Guidelines (NHMRC, 2013), the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating and the recommended serves on Eat for Health.
- The NHMRC Infant Feeding Guidelines and ASCIA guidance on introducing common allergy foods to babies.
- Food Standards Australia New Zealand advice on food labels, allergens, Listeria and mercury in fish.
- The NHMRC guidelines to reduce health risks from drinking alcohol, which use standard drinks of 10 g of alcohol.
- healthdirect and Pregnancy, Birth and Baby information on pregnancy, sleep and everyday health.
Each course lists its sources so you can read the original advice yourself. NHMRC is reviewing the Australian Dietary Guidelines; until new guidelines are published, our courses follow the 2013 guidelines, and we will update them when the review is finished.
Courses on topics outside our author's specialist area, such as menopausal hormone therapy (MHT), mood or sleep problems, are written as general education from healthdirect and other official Australian information and do not replace advice from your GP or another qualified clinician.
Education, not treatment
Our courses help you understand healthy habits and prepare for conversations with health professionals. They do not diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
- Course pages show what to check first, for example if you are pregnant, take medicines or have a long-term condition.
- Courses on sensitive topics include a when to get help section that points to your GP, midwife, child and family health nurse, pharmacist, healthdirect or 000.
- Our weight courses never promise a set amount of weight loss and are not for under-18s.
- Our calculators and checkers give general information, not a diagnosis.
What we care about
- Practical: every lesson ends with something you can do today.
- Honest: we say what the evidence and Australian guidance say, and we say when something is uncertain or under review.
- No hype: we do not use testimonials, before-and-after photos or promises of results.
- Respectful: no shame, no fad diets and no foods labelled as good or bad.
- Private: your tracker and tool entries are yours. You can export or delete them at any time from My Progress.
