Night sweats, 3am worry, getting up to wee and lighter sleep can all arrive together in perimenopause and menopause. Broken nights then affect your mood, memory and patience the next day. This course helps you work out what is really disturbing your sleep, so you can match what you do to it.
You will keep a two-week night symptom diary, set up a cooler bedroom with a night kit, learn a calm plan for getting through a night sweat, build a menopause wind-down routine, and use daylight, activity and meal timing to support your nights. You will also learn about other midlife sleep disturbers, such as sleep apnoea and restless legs, and the options your GP may discuss, including menopausal hormone therapy (MHT, which some people still call HRT) and CBT, as education for that conversation.
It is for women in perimenopause, menopause and beyond whose sleep has changed. It is not a general insomnia program or a treatment; it focuses on the menopause side of sleep and helps you walk into your GP appointment prepared.
Understand the many reasons sleep can change in perimenopause and menopause, so you can work out which ones apply to you.

Keep a simple night symptom diary for two weeks, then read it for clues about your triggers and what to discuss with your GP.

Sleep and Menopause, 6 modules, completed 6 October 2026
This course focuses on the menopause side of sleep: night sweats, hot flushes, 3am worry, night-time weeing and other midlife changes, and how to prepare for a GP conversation about them. It does not give a full insomnia program. If you have long-term insomnia, a general sleep course such as our Complete Better Sleep Course, or CBT for insomnia through your GP, may suit you better.
No course can promise that. It teaches everyday ways to stay cooler and settle faster, which Australian menopause health services suggest can help, and explains the options your GP may discuss if night sweats are affecting your life.
No. It explains MHT and other options in plain language, as education, so you can have an informed conversation with your GP. Only you and your GP can decide what is right for you.
Yes. Sleep often changes in perimenopause, while periods are still happening but becoming irregular. If you are under 45 and have menopause symptoms, it is important to see your GP.
