About MyNutriCare
We make short, practical courses on everyday nutrition and wellbeing, with the tools built in so you can use what you learn the same day.
What we do
Good food and health advice is easy to find but hard to put into practice. MyNutriCare turns trusted Irish guidance into short lessons and pairs each one with a tool: a tracker, a meal planner, a checklist or a question sheet for your next appointment.
Our courses cover six areas of life: eating well and moving more; pregnancy and new parents; feeding and raising children; women's health and menopause; mind, sleep and self-care; and family, ageing and care.
- Self-paced lessons you can read in a few minutes on your phone.
- Interactive tools that save to your account and download as PDFs.
- A final check and a certificate with its own verification ID.
- One payment per course in euro, VAT included, with no subscription.
How we write and check our courses
Every course in the Ireland edition is written by Dr Aqsa Mukhtiar, PhD in Nutrition, who also reviews the nutrition content. Each course is built on official Irish sources, such as:
- The Healthy Food for Life guidelines and the Food Pyramid from the Department of Health, including the pyramids for children aged 1 to 4 and for adults over 65.
- HSE advice on pregnancy, breastfeeding, formula feeding and weaning, and the HSE My Child books.
- The Food Safety Authority of Ireland on food labels, allergens and food supplements, and safefood on healthy eating and food safety.
- Every Move Counts, the national physical activity guidelines, and the HSE weekly low-risk alcohol guidelines.
Each course lists its sources so you can read the original advice yourself. Courses on topics outside our author's specialist area, such as HRT, mood or sleep problems, are written as general education from HSE information and do not replace advice from your GP or another qualified clinician.
Education, not treatment
Our courses help you understand healthy habits and prepare for conversations with health professionals. They do not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, and we do not offer personal advice by email or chat.
- Course pages show what to check first, for example if you are pregnant, take medicines or have a long-term condition.
- Courses on sensitive topics include a when to get help section that points to your GP, midwife, public health nurse, pharmacist, HSE Live or the emergency services.
- Our weight courses never promise a set amount of weight loss, never suggest losing more than 1kg a week and are not for under-18s.
- We do not use testimonials or before-and-after stories, and we do not claim that any food prevents, treats or cures a disease.
- Our calculators and checkers give general information, not a diagnosis.
What we care about
- Practical: every lesson ends with something you can do today.
- Honest: we say what the evidence and Irish guidance say, and we say when something is uncertain.
- Respectful: no shame, no fad diets and no foods labelled as good or bad. Top shelf foods are explained, not banned.
- Private: your tracker and tool entries are yours. You can export or delete them at any time from My Progress.
