Caring for a partner, parent, child or friend can be full of love, and also exhausting. This course helps you understand where your stress comes from, spot the warning signs early and use quick, realistic ways to calm things down on a busy caring day.
You will learn how to ask for a carer's assessment in your part of the UK, where money and practical help may come from, how to build a support map, and how to plan breaks that actually happen. You will finish with a one-page self-care plan covering food, sleep, movement, boundaries and who to call if things get worse.
It is for adult unpaid carers in the UK, whether you care full-time, alongside a job, or from a distance. It is general education and signposting, not therapy or medical advice.

Yes. The course is written for the whole UK and explains where carer's assessments, benefits and helplines differ between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
6 modules with 18 short lessons (about 2 hours in total) and 6 interactive tools, including the Carer stress tracker, Respite and breaks planner and My support map.
