Feeding a family is a daily juggle: different ages, different tastes, busy evenings and a food bill that keeps creeping up. This course gives you a simple system for planning a week of meals that work for everyone at the table, from toddlers to teenagers to grown-ups, based on Ireland's Healthy Eating Guidelines, the Food Pyramid and HSE advice for children.
You will build your own weekly meal plan, learn how to cook one meal and adapt it for different ages, turn your plan into a shopping list, run a batch-cook session safely and track what you spend. Every module comes with a ready-to-use tool that saves to your account and prints as a PDF.
It is for parents, carers and anyone cooking for a household with children. You do not need to be a confident cook. You just need 20 minutes a week to plan and a willingness to try a few new habits.
Why a simple weekly plan saves time, money and arguments, and how the Food Pyramid works as a template for children and adults at the same table.

No. The course is built around simple family meals, cupboard staples and easy batch recipes. If you can make pasta and a basic sauce, you can follow it.
For most families, yes. Module 3 shows you how to cook one base meal and adapt it at the end for toddlers, fussy eaters, teenagers and adults, with printable cards for common family meals.
It includes practical tips for planning around allergies, but it does not replace the advice of your child's GP, allergy clinic or dietitian. Always follow their plan.
Many families find planning, shopping from a list and cutting waste lowers their food bill, but results depend on your circumstances. The budget tracker and cost-per-meal calculator help you see where your money goes.
