Our UK courses use the guidance you will hear from your GP, midwife or health visitor: the Eatwell Guide, NHS advice on pregnancy and weaning, the UK Chief Medical Officers' activity guidelines and NICE guidance where it applies. Where the four nations differ, for example Healthy Start in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and Best Start Foods in Scotland, the lesson says so.
Each course page lists who the course suits, what to check with a health professional first and the official sources it is based on.
If you want to eat better in general, start with Understanding the Eatwell Guide. If you have a specific goal, such as weaning, pregnancy or menopause, choose that topic and start with its Foundation or Focused course.
